We have just set on a greenkeeper for the next 12 months; he started on Saturday. Treating the green to a double dose of feed, followed by liquid treatment to prevent and remove moss/weeds; the gutters, footpath around the green and the garden were treated to weed killer. He’ll be following this up with the green being aerated and seeding after the match on Tuesday 9th May. Next step for us is to acquire a 30 in. barrel petrol lawnmower.
